Join us for Creative Connections, a welcoming monthly social group for young adults with ASD to showcase their unique talents, share personal interests, and discover new ones together! Each meeting kicks off with a 30-45 minute skill session led by one of our participants—whether it’s art, music, coding, or cooking, there’s always something exciting to learn! Feel free to join in on the demo or focus on your own project in a relaxed, supportive space. All are welcome—come one, come all!

Making Memories: PJ Brunch

Get into the holiday spirit with our 3rd Annual Pajama Brunch with Sensory Santa and the Omaha Symphony Sing-A-Long! 

Join us on December 21st to meet our sensory-friendly Santa, enjoy delicious treats from Conscious Comforts, and sing holiday songs from the Omaha Symphony. 

This event will be broken into two sessions to ensure it is a sensory friendly experience for your family. Due to limited space, please sign up for your immediate family only

Sensory Friendly Performance: A Christmas Story

Sensory Friendly Performance: A Christmas Story

We are excited to share that our friends at The Rose Theater Omaha are inviting up to 300 people to the sensory-friendly performance of A Christmas Story on Saturday, December 21st at 2 PM!

A Christmas Story is a full-length performance, 2 hours with a 15-minute intermission. The show has reserved seating and families may choose whatever seats will set them up for the best success, either on the main floor or balcony.

To book tickets, you can go online to secure tickets using the promo code: WELCOME.

Visit the link below and select the December 21st at 2 PM show. Select your seats and enter the promo code when prompted.

Alternatively, individuals may call the Box Office to purchase tickets at (402) 345-4849.

This cannot be combined with any other offer. No refund provided for previously purchased tickets. Tickets cannot be exchanged for a different date of A Christmas Story. This is for the December 21st performance at 2 PM ONLY.

The event kicks off with a special improv performance by the locally renowned "Dad Jokes" group at the Backline Comedy Club. In the morning, you'll gain practical skills for navigating the city’s metro buses and ride-sharing apps, with hands-on guidance to help you feel confident. After lunch, test what you've learned with a fun city scavenger hunt, supported by staff to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience. Our Turn with the Omaha Symphony

Our Turn with the Omaha Symphony

Join Maestro Serena Reuten and the Omaha Symphony on this interactive concert featuring music from Mozart's Magic Flute, Still's Mother and Child, and more!

We’ll take turns exploring big, small, up, down, high, and low with our bodies and music, before choosing calm as the concert draws to a close.

This program, developed specifically to be inclusive of sensory needs, takes place in a relaxed environment with a variety of seating options and dance space. 

Before the concert begins, take the time to explore the instruments with the Instrument Petting Zoo. Here you can touch and discover the different sounds you will hear during the performance!
