For 16+ years, Autism Action Partnership has served the needs of the autism community through programs and services that address critical gaps in care. The diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) continues to grow, worldwide and locally, with 1 in 31 children diagnosed and an estimated 1 in 45 adults living with autism. Autism Action Partnership provides direct support to individuals with autism and their families, advances autism inclusion efforts throughout the community, and assists autistic adults in achieving independence and prosperity.
A-Team continued its mission of empowering adolescents on the autism spectrum through social connection, skill development, and inclusion. As a structured after-school program, it provided a safe space for neurodivergent students to build friendships and strengthen their social-emotional skills.
Highlights of 2024:
Expanded participation in Junior Varsity (ages 10-13) and Varsity (ages 14-17) cohorts.
Enhanced programming featuring community engagement, vocational training, and relationship-building.
Increased accessibility with new funding assistance options for families.
Seasonal cohorts & camps, including "Game On," focusing on gaming and social interaction.
With 88 adolescents served in 2024, A-Team continues to create meaningful opportunities that foster confidence and connection.
