Skill Domain: Social

Description:
Before we can build strong relationships or confidently advocate for ourselves, we must first understand who we are. Participants will:
Be able to identify and describe key aspects of their identity.
Demonstrate an understanding of how autism (or neurodivergence) influences their communication, sensory experiences, and relationships.
Recognize their personal needs, boundaries, and energy levels, and practice communicating with them clearly using structured self-advocacy statements.
Identify different types of relationships and describe how roles, responsibilities, and communication styles vary within each.
