PWS Participants / Job Seekers

Eligibility:

  • diagnosis or IEP indication of ASD

  • completed high school diploma or GED

  • are willing and able to work at least 15 hours per week in the Omaha area

  • have reliable transportation

Participants receive:

  • skills and interest assessments

  • career counseling

  • work readiness training (Prosper Advantage)

  • work-site tours/job shadows

  • resume development and interview preparation

  • job placement and onboarding support

  • retention support and long-term advising

  • assistance through the interview process and onboarding

Once hired, PWS staff provide assistance and support to help participants overcome barriers at work and outside of work to maximize job performance and retention.
